Fish oil is an important part of the daily diet of children. In Norway, vitamin D3 supplementation is recommended, including cod liver oil, from 4 weeks of age.

Fish oil (cod liver oil) contains both vitamin D3 and omega-3 fatty acids. Vitamin D contributes to the proper growth and development of bones in children. Vitamin D supports the proper functioning of the immune system. Omega-3 DHA acid supports the proper development of eyesight in infants up to 12 months of age. DHA acid supports the maintenance of the proper functioning of the brain and proper vision.

Vitamin D 5 µg = 200 IU (100%)

Recommended daily intake: From 4 weeks of age, start dosing with 2.5 ml. Over the course of 2-5 months, increase the dose to 5 ml.
