Delicate lips are covered only with a thin layer of epidermis, which is why they are constantly exposed to drying, cracking and damage. To keep them in the best condition, you can use gels based on mango butter and liquid shea butter. They not only moisturize, but also create a protective coating.

Mango fruit butter - cold pressed from dried Indian mango seeds (Mangifera indica).

Its composition includes:

- oleic acid, or omega-9 unsaturated fatty acid, which is a traditional ingredient in moisturizing cosmetics. It replenishes the skin's lipid layer and regenerates it.

- stearic acid (saturated), which has a stabilizing function and extends the durability of the cosmetic

- "youth vitamins", ie A, C and E, which fight free radicals, and also help in the production of collagen and regeneration of the epidermis.

- vitamin K (anti-inflammatory) and polyphenols (antibacterial and antiviral).

Properties of mango butter:

Liquid shea butter - is the fat obtained from the nuts of the tree called Masłosz Parka, which grows in Africa. It contains much more unsaturated fatty acids than other natural vegetable butters. Up to 90% of its composition is made of oleic and stearic acids, which affect the hardness of shea butter. After the solids are separated from the butter, we obtain a liquid form that is easier to use. Its characteristic feature is a very high content of unsaponifiable compounds. Thanks to this:

- easily penetrates the skin, into its deeper layers, where it stays for a long time

- after application, it does not leave an oily layer, allows the skin to breathe and does not clog pores.

The action of shea butter - nourishes and regenerates the skin, leaving a protective lipid layer on it

- accelerates the healing of minor wounds

- improves the elasticity of the stratum corneum, protecting and strengthening the intercellular cement

- has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties

- creates a protective barrier on the surface of the skin, thanks to which it helps to retain moisture and reduce water loss

- provides long-term care for dry, rough and chapped lips.

Castor oil - in gels for demanding lips, there can also be castor oil, which is often added to lip balms and lip glosses. It adds shine and moisturizes, thanks to which dry lips are protected for a long time.
